The problem

To cut a power bill with solar, a consumer normally has to buy and install equipment.

What we built

We built SunDeal in Palmas, Brazil, on the distributed generation model: customers sign up, subscribe to solar power and get a discount on their bill, with no panels to install.

How it works

  1. Sign up

    The customer signs up.

  2. Subscribe

    They subscribe to solar power.

  3. A lower bill

A discount on the power bill, no panels to install.

Outcome

We took SunDeal to an exit: the company was sold in 2025 and still operates in Palmas, Brazil.

Today

Today SunDeal describes itself as the largest producer and manager of low-voltage solar energy credits in the state of Tocantins, with its own and partner plants.

1 million

energy credits traded by SunDealUp to its exit in 2025.
